There were some beautiful homes along the river. Whoever lives along ariver like this should feel very lucky.
A gentle breeze came up and so I decided to take advantage and sail awhile. Turning off the motor is putting up the sails is like a big exhale- it is so much more relaxing. This was heaven for me.
With binoculars you could see people sunbathing. It was a beautiful spring day and many people were taking advantage of it.
The water was like glass! Kerrie (my wife not the boat) would have loved it - the Kerrie Lynne II did love it (I think). Poor wifey hasn't been able to get out on the boat in nice weather yet!
Ahh... the ghost fleet comes into view.
I'm not sure which carrier this is - but it sure was fun to see it up close.
I couldn't find any name or number. It looks like the carrier is beached, but the depth finder showed about thirty-five feet of water.
Some more pictures of the fleet.
Quite a bit of rust there...
I wasn't the only sailboat out today. I guess the seasons are finally changing!
