I just finished putting out the anchor when Kerrie snapped this picture of me. It was in the low 80s and I am trying out my high tech hot weather clothes. The pants have a ventilated mesh inseam. The shirt keeps the sun off my arms and I usually wear it open - I buttoned it to look fashionable for the picture! The hat is a Tilley hat with the ventilated band at the top. Seemed to work very well. Later in the week I went out on a day in the low 90s and keeping the sun directly off my skin made a big difference. Very happy with the clothes so far.

ODU Sailing Center
The parade is ready to arrive with the Eagle in the lead.
Jamestown replica ship
Swooping around the fleet taking pictures.
Dogs enjoy parades too.
Boat Pix helicopter flying down low for pictures.
Our local "American Rover"
Our local "Spirit of Norfolk" heading out. It must have been a special parade charter because we could here descriptions of the tall ships being read over the ship's loudspeakers as she passed the tall ships.
Many planes did fly overs. Here are two.
I don't think I've seen a submarine in the parade of sail before. Very cool.
One of the most interesting things about the parade of sail is the motor boat onlookers.
