Weather looked very nice for an overnight on the Nansesmond, so I took off.
The wind was from the north east all day. So, I ran with the wind on the main sail alone. I didn't bother trying to do wing and wing. I wasn't in any hurry and it was very relaxing.
When I got to where I planned to anchor, the wind was still up and wasn't going to calm down until about 9pm.
I didn't feel like swing at achor for four hours so I decided to look for a more protected spot. I didn't expect to find one but I did! Yea! It was very calm even with the stiff breeze.
Sunday morning it was dead calm, as usual. I motored back at half throttle. When the water is like glass even that is very pleasant. This was a nice trip.
Dinner. A Glazed Chicken Lean Cusine cooked in a frying pan. It was very tasty, this works great.
At anchor watching the sun set.
A really bright full moon. Was pretty but I had to close my front hatch for sleeping. It is amazing how bright a full moon is. Luckily I didn't get a moon burn.
At anchor watching the sun rise.
Some interior shots of the boat.
Some last pictures before raising the hook.
Trip log info for the trip to the anchorage before clearing it for todays trip.
