We were underway by 8 AM on Saturday morning and arrived at the East River a little after 4 PM. A little more than half the trip was under sail. The wind had really picked up to between 10 and 15 mph. Quite a bit more than was forecast. It was a very nice trip. This was the second time I had been it here. It wasn't quite as pretty as I had remembered it but it was still quite pretty and very well protected with deep anchorages.
Saturday evening around 6 PM
Dad eating his trail mix.
Sunday morning around 8 AM - just after sunrise
Some of the fog we encountered. It was actually quite thick when we woke up but burned off quickly.
My new hat.
